Digital Embroidery

Inspired by Bronzino’s Portrait of Eleonora di Toledo and the detailed brocade of her gown, this digital embroidery unfolds as a slow meditation on surface, labor, and luxury. Built through successive layers of embroidery on sheer fabric, the work achieves a depth reminiscent of jacquard weaving, where transparency and density quietly converse.

Each embroidered layer requires several hours to complete and must be continuously monitored, underscoring the fragility of the material and the precision of the process.
